That’s doggone wild.

A dog born with a spare 𝓅𝑒𝓃𝒾𝓈 had to undergo emergency surgery to relieve him of his sex-tra appendage so it wouldn’t encumber him.

“I’ve never seen this condition before,” the surgeon, Dr. Lauren McNamara, wrote in a viral Instagram post last week.

The extra-endowed canine, fittingly named Willy Wonka, had reportedly been handed into the Animal Welfare League Queensland (AWLQ) in Australia, News.com.au reported.

“Surgery was the kindest and most responsible way forward,” said Dr. Lauren McNamara (pictured) holding the special dog.

Upon inspection, the animal rescuers noticed that the pup boasted an unusual double feature.

“We noticed Willy wasn’t walking well on his back leg, and we also saw something dangling on the side of the leg, which was very odd,” said AWLQ vet nurse Trine Frostrud.

The people who surrendered Willy initially thought it was an extra tail, only to realize that it was actually a “bonus 𝓅𝑒𝓃𝒾𝓈,” as seen in graphic footage circulating online.

An examination by vet employees revealed that that the double wiener dog suffered from diphallia, a rare congenital condition that results in an duplicate dong.

The pup’s extra 𝓅𝑒𝓃𝒾𝓈 was located on its leg.

To date, there have only been four such documented cases of this multi-pronged condition in dogs, the Herald Sun reported.

However, Willy’s was the only one where the extra 𝓅𝒽𝒶𝓁𝓁𝓊𝓈 “wasn’t anywhere near the normal 𝓅𝑒𝓃𝒾𝓈,” per McNamara.

Unfortunately, unlike with Dumbo’s ears, there was no special superpower that came with packing a sexual spare.

The extra 𝓅𝑒𝓃𝒾𝓈 and the damaged leg jeopardized the dog’s health.

Indeed, X-ray and CT scans confirmed that Willy’s duplicate 𝓅𝒽𝒶𝓁𝓁𝓊𝓈 was nonfunctioning — and could even jeopardize his health.

The dual-wielding doggo also had significant damage in his hind leg, the joints of which were fused together, impeding his locomotion and quality of life.

Willy recovered well without any complications.

Schlong story short, vets decided to free the willy.

“Surgery was the kindest and most responsible way forward,” said McNamara, who conducted a complicated operation to remove the pooch’s extra 𝓅𝑒𝓃𝒾𝓈 as well as his deformed limb.

Thankfully, Willy is recovering well after going under the knife, per the surgeon, who said that now he’s just a “normal three-legged puppy.”

Due to the “abnormal” nature of the case, McNamara will write a science journal entry detailing Willy’s condition.

She even sent the “bonus 𝓅𝑒𝓃𝒾𝓈 to a lab for further investigation.”

Coincidentally, diphallia hasn’t been such a downer for everyone.

A Los Angeles truck driver named Tank said that having two dongs allowed for double the fun as he could ejaculate through both simultaneously — even when only one was being stimulated.

Despite the so-called amorous advantage, the trucker eventually opted to have his spare shlong removed as it was painful for his paramours.
